Jamie Hurcomb (she/her) is a documentary producer, instructor, editor, and researcher based out of Toronto, Canada. She has worked for CBC, Shaftesbury Films, Showtime, and Photographers Without Borders.

Jamie teaches in the RTA School of Media at The Creative School (Toronto Metropolitan University) with a focus on virtual identity and communities.

Jamie is also an Unreal Engine Education Advisor for Epic Games, working in the realm of Virtual Filmmaking & Media (specifically, in non-fiction narratives). She is passionate about how emerging/novice creators can utilize virtual production as a means of artistic expression with limited learning curves, minimal out-of-pocket expenses, and an increased focus on self-sufficient and individual-centric educational methodologies.

One time Jamie played Taylor Swift in a dramatic reenactment series about celebrity feuds, but she has never seen it.
